Taste the territory by savouring healthy food and discovering an eco-friendly lifestyle with us! We are waiting for you at Poggiopiano to let you see first-hand our story and the story of our products, always breathing clean fresh air!
A wine bottle and an extra virgin olive oil bottle have many stories to tell. The visit starts where everything begins – in the vineyard and olive grove -, then continues to the cellar to discover all the secrets of winemaking and wine ageing. At the end of the visit, in our tasting room we will taste 2 different extra-virgin olive oils, one of industrial production and one of our production finding qualities and defects, then 3 wines paired to local products. We care to let you discover all this in first person, telling you about our daily work in vineyard, olive grove and in the cellar. Compulsory booking.
When we talk about di-vine relax, take it literally!
Summer is hot but at Poggiopiano there is always a fresh breeze and, above all, a 16 x 7.5 meters panoramic pool reserved to the ones who are looking for mind and body rest.
In the setting of our vineyards and olive groves, you will taste wines and extra virgin olive oil produced by the same fields surrounding you!
To ensure the quietness and the relax the entrances are limited so the booking is compulsory.
Led by the passion for good things and for the land, I took the decision to take over the business that I am still leading with my Family.
Since the beginning I decided to grow our 4,5 hectares of vineyards and 11 hectares of olive groves in organic agriculture and since 1999 we are officially certified organic. A forward-looking choice at that moment, driven by the desire to produce healthy wine and olive oil, other than good ones! First of all, all food products must be good – the healthiness of an organic product, that respects the environment and the beings working and living there, is a great added value.
Sustainability is an all-round concept at Poggiopiano: bio and organic are not only intended as the respect for the earth, but also to ourselves and to the consumers of our wine and olive oil. This is why many choices, as the production of energy from renewable sources, aim to the reduction of the carbon footprint and to a 360 degrees sustainability!
Taste and experience all this at Poggiopiano!
